Jonathan Patz on Planetary Health and How Climate Change Affects Health

This spring, Jonathan Patz is on sabbatical at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, and he is also taking the chance to visit other Australian Universities. On Tuesday, Patz sat down with Associate Professor Nina Lansbury at the University of Queensland School of Public Health to discuss Planetary Health and the many ways climate change affects human health. The interview was for Australian students as well as offering a preview of Patz’s keynote address for the World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Summit in Melbourne, taking place April 22 - 24, 2024.
